May - shouldn't it be warmer??

May was lots of fun, but it should have been warmer. It was crazy cold all month. I wanted more heat.

May 1st Jason defended his thesis =). He is now done with his Masters in Computer Science. He has been working on it since I was pregnant with Jonathan (3 1/2 years). We are going to get our Saturday's back, yea. He did a great job. His thesis was on Hiding Data in Covert Channels of Word Documents. He defended on the last day possible to graduate for Spring Semester. He cut it real close.

Jason spent the entire first week of May at the Java One conference in San Fransisco. Work sent him. He learned lots. It was a long week to have all the kids all by my self allll day and night long, no relief. We survived. I bought a lot of prepackaged stuff, so didn't have to cook. The kids love those dino nuggets from Costco. We made wraps out of them.

Elisabeth had a bunch of school performances last month. She did the musical Grease, did a 1st grade presentation, Hawaiian day, dance recital, and dance festival. She did a great job in all her performances. Rebekah and Elisabeth danced to the High School Musical song Fabulous for their dance recital. They did a fantastic job. Thanks to everyone who came and saw them perform. We went to dinner after at TGIFriday's to celebrate.

The last weekend in June Jason and Jonathan went on Father and Sons. They went to a campground near Jordanelle Resovoir. They had a great time and caught a couple of fish. Jonathan keeps asking when just him and dad will be going out fishing again. It was the last outing for Jason's truck =(. It won't pass emissions and it will cost to much to fix it, so to the Junk Yard it goes. It will be missed.

April's Goings and Comings

Wow it's been awhile since we posted. Going to post each month separately. I'm going to try to be more regular with my postings. Here are some of April's happenings.

Had a fun weekend with the Daniels Family. Friday, we ate dinner with Brenda and some friends and family at a Brazilian restuarant in Salt Lake City. It was nice to eat dinner with out any kids =) and fun to see everyone. On Saturday night we drove to Perry to stay the weekend. Brenda blessed her baby and Greg had his farewell. Brenda's baby is cute. Her name is Patsy Mae Daniels. Greg is leaving on his mission. He is going to the Italy Rome Mission. Everyone from the family was able to be there, except Jared and Laura (we missed you). It was a fun time. We stayed a Brian and Callie's (thanks you guys were great).

Graduations were later in the week. Laci and Rachel graduated this semester. CONGRATULATIONS. Laci graduated in Speech from BYU. We went to a party are her house to celebrate (Jason was speaking at a YM event so was a little late). We had catered Olive Garden, yummy. Great Job Laci. The next day we celebrated Rachel's graduation from BYU. She graduated in Marriage and Family Science. We had a fun baked potato bar at her place. They both worked super hard and it was fun to celebrate with them.
