APRIL
The last day I was pregnant. wahoo!!!
We have been truly blessed over the last couple of months. Justin Brian Daniels was born April 7, 2011 at 4:37 pm. He was 9 lbs 9 ozs and 21 inches long. Justin was breech until I had a blessing the night before I was to be induced. We were so grateful that he was head down so I could be induced. The anesthesiologist messed up my first epidural. The top half of my body was numb which was giving me low blood pressure. Not good. The second epidural numbed my bottom half which was good. After being in intense pain in my shoulders for two days I found out I had a spinal headache and spinal fluid was leaking from my messed up epidural. They then had to give me a blood patch. A blood patch is when they take 20cc [7 ozs] of blood from my hand and put it in your back. After the blood patch I felt better.
At Justin's two week appointment his bilirubin was very high [19] and we had to put him on the lights. He wasn't at birth weight either so they were a little concerned. After one day on the lights and a priesthood blessing he was back to normal and close to birth weight.
The girls did a funny dance for our ward talent show.
Jacob graduated from preschool.
