Merry Christmas 2012

We feel very blessed and grateful for this past year and of course for all of our family and friends and how you have each enriched our lives. We hope you have a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and pray that you will all enjoy an even better 2013!

Happy Holidays,
Jason, Kristine, Elisabeth, Rebekah, Jonathan, Jacob, Kayla and Justin

Jason – Jason wants to do everything, but still only has 24 hours a day. He is still working at the church as a software manager. Check out http://familysearch.org/tree. Whenever he can he bribes his kids to scratch his back. He enjoys serving in the Elders Quorum Presidency.  He also likes to play with his kids: basketball, fishing, water skiing, tubing, wake boarding, mountain biking, snowmobiling ….

Kristine – Kristine is 8 months pregnant and tired. She does an amazing job of managing all the kids and husband. She is busy doing homework with the kids, getting the kids to and from school, and keeping the house going smoothly. When she gets some free time she likes to do genealogy. She is currently in cub scouts.

Elisabeth – Elisabeth is in the 6th grade and in her last year of Elementary School.  She is starting to baby-sit and loves playing with kids.  She loves reading and will stay up late into the night finishing books.  She is cute and funny.  She loves making things and being crafty, she is especially proud of the skirt she recently made.  She really likes her time in the school choir and is also taking jazz, ballet and piano.

Rebekah – Rebekah is smart, determined, and focused. She is in an advanced learning class for 4th grade and loves it.  She is learning and being challenged.  She started playing clarinet and piano.  Every time she walks by the piano she sits down and plays.  If she is not playing the piano she is playing the clarinet, cross-stitching, or playing cards.  She is a budding photographer and loves taking pictures.

Jonathan – Jonathan is in second grade.  He was recently baptized and is way excited to be in cub scouts (he made sure he passed off all his Bobcat requirements the first week).  He loves computer games, his current favorites are Just Dance, Sugar Sugar and Mario Kart. He also has the dancing gene and always wins when he plays Just Dance.  He likes playing basketball and soccer.

Jacob – Jacob started kindergarten and is fantastic at reading.  He loves playing with friends.  He is super curious, smart, fearless, and independent.  He took the chain guard off his bike and knows the difference between a flat head and a Phillips screwdriver.  If he is hungry he will make his own Top Ramen.

Kayla – Kayla is a cute, blond, with curly hair and the personality to match.  She loves to play on her dad’s phone and to say prayers.  She likes playing with her cousins.  She also loves her dance class.

Justin – Justin is trying to adjust to nursery. He is very curious and copies everything he sees. He is adding new words to his vocabulary daily. He climbs on everything, the funniest is when he climbs into the bathroom sink and turns the water on.

October / November 2012

October was fun. We went to a Daniels Family Reunion @ Bear Lake. The house was huge with an indoor trampoline, basketball court, and playground. It even had slides to go from one level to another. We did puzzles, went fishing, played games, had a ladies lunch, watched football, dressed up in halloween costumes, and ate lots of good food.

We took family pictures in the canyon.

We went trick-or-treating for Halloween. It was fun. We also went to Debbie's for a Halloween Party, Trunk-or-Treat at my mom's ward, and the annual Halloween Parade @ the school.

Justin is 18 months now and gets to go to nursery.

We went to Ian and Candice's wedding.  Congrats!!

For Thanksgiving we celebrated Jonathan [8], Rebekah[10], and my mom's Bday at Kari's place.  The next day we had a Thanksgiving dinner with Jason's family.  On Saturday Jason, Rebekah and Jacob went snowmobiling with Brian.

Jonathan turned 8 this year.  Super exciting!!  He had a birthday party.  They went bowling and to pizza pie cafe.  Jonathan was baptized and started cub scouts.

We went to the Festival of Trees to watch Jonathan sing.  We also moved Kari's family into their new house.

Rebekah had a band concert.  She plays the clarinet.

Elisabeth sang at the Joseph Smith Building for a choir concert.
