December 2011

Another month has come and gone. December was lots of fun with all the usual holiday traditions.

Elisabeth performed with the Eaglecrest Choir at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square. We also saw the lights on temple square.

Rebekah and Elisabeth performed in a mini ballet and jazz recital. It is so much fun to watch them dance and progress.

We went to Jason's Parents for Christmas Eve. We made gingerbread houses and acted out the Nativity.

We had a fun Christmas. Jason got a new phone and waders for fly fishing. I got new appliances to match our new cabinet doors. Elisabeth got some new hair stuff. Rebekah got an ant farm. Jonathan got a fish. Jacob got a remote control car. Kayla got doll stuff. Justin got a high chair for the table. Everyone loved the Wii that we got from my family.

It has been nice to not have school or have to be anywhere for a few days, but back to the "rat race" tomorrow.

This month we stripped, sanded, stained, and polyurethane on the 2nd story wood banister. We love it. It matches our wood floors so much better than the yellow oak. It was a lot of work, but glad it's over.

Jacob and Kayla are in a bunk bed now. We got them new bedding. They were excited.
