Kristine is feeling very sore. I would be she has never been this sore in her life.
James - starting to eat more and actually nursed for a few minutes today
Joseph -
- The air in the middle of his chest has cleared up. (GOOD)
- He developed a pnuemo thorax (air inside the chest cavity, but closer to the ribs), - NOT GOOD that was found this morning in an X-Ray at 4am. It is located in the upper right corner of his chest. An X-Ray at 9:30am confirmed it wasn't growing in size. The x-ray at 6pm shows that it has shrunk a little (GOOD).
- Ventilator - they want to get him off of it but can only do it as fast as his little body will allow. You might find it interesting that it is a Oscillating Ventilator, doing 420 pumps per minute (yes that is right. To maintain his Oxygen Levels (aka O2 Stats) the oxygen level is maintained between 31% to 38% (this is down from 44% yesterday) - GOOD
- He is on several other drugs and drips to maintain blood pressure, sedation, and nutrients.
Thanks for your continued support thoughts and prayers.
Jason and Kristine
