Requesting Meal/Childcare Help for the Daniels' Family - Mon, Jan 16, 2017 at 12:53 PM

Dear Ward Family,

The Daniel's family had the blessing today of welcoming their twin boys, Joseph and James into the world.  As always, the birth of a baby comes with excitement as well as stress- and twins means a double portion of both!  One of the twins has also experienced some complications and is undergoing some special treatments.  With this in mind, we as a ward family would like to relieve as much of the stress as possible for Jason, Kristine and their other children.  Attached you will find a sign up for providing meals. (We are trying to save the freezer meals we gave them for when Kristine is home and recovered.)   Please help where you are able. A;so, please note that the meals cannot include milk, eggs, onions, and mustard due to allergies.

There will also be needs to help with things like childcare, and helping with things like cleaning and laundry.  If you are interested in helping in this way, Please call Kerry Gurney. She is coordinating this effort.  (801-691-9188)

This is the perfect time and place to apply the lesson taught by Alma in Mosiah chapter 18.

8 And it came to pass that he said unto them: Behold, here are the waters of Mormon (for thus were they called) and now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light;
 9 Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life—

We know you will be blessed as you help to ease the burdens of this wonderful family,
The Relief Society Compassionate Service Committee
